TSMP9 is our fastest drying and most competitively priced paper for solvent printing. TSPHG6 will produce fantastic looking water-resistant solvent prints rivalling the quality produced on a water-based printer. We advise against lamination of TSPHG6 and would recommend using another paper such as our TSPPG9 gloss poster paper instead. If you feel it has to be laminated, then TSPHG6 must be totally dry prior to lamination, and an unprinted area of 5mm must be left around the edge to prevent delamination. The base paper is sourced from certified managed forests.

TSPPG9 210GSM PREMIUM OPAQUE GLOSS OUTDOOR POSTER PAPER AND TSPPS6 140GSM OPAQUE SATIN OUTDOOR POSTER PAPER

TSPPG9 is our best-selling and premium solvent poster paper. With the highest most vibrant print quality, TSPPG9 can be used for internal applications that would once have been printed using a water based inkjet printer with the added bonus of superior water, scratch and fade resistance. TSPPS6 is a very opaque, barrier coated satin white poster paper that has excellent wet strength properties, which allow it to be used as an outdoor poster paper. Its resistance to temperature and humidity also allows it to be used in environments with high humidity and extreme temperature variations such as launderettes etc. The print results are outstanding on a variety of solvent printers with superb colour definition. A solvent print on either of the above poster papers will typically last for 2 - 3 months outdoors unlaminated. Lamination will dramatically extend the image life and our recommended overlaminates are from our DigiGuard range. Drying times on the poster papers are sometimes slower than our self-adhesive vinyl so take care when handling straight after printing. Let the prints dry for a couple of hours before finishing them. A forced air dryer such as a fan heater can be used to speed up drying times if required. The base paper is sourced from certified managed forests.

TSBBS5 125GSM BLUE BACKED SATIN OUTDOOR POSTER PAPER AND TSBBS5SA 125GSM SELF-ADHESIVE BLUE BACKED

TSBBS5 blue back is designed to prevent show-through of previous posters. This cover-all paper has excellent wet strength properties and will typically last 2 - 3 months outdoors unlaminated. Our recommended DigiGuard overlaminates will dramatically extend this life. Like the other poster papers, drying times may be slower than on a standard vinyl. After solvent printing, the prints on TSBBS5 should be soaked for up to 24 hours in water to avoid the prints from shrinking or swelling when in-situ. A standard or heavy-duty starch based paste may be used. TSBBS5SA is a self-adhesive version of the blue-back. It can be used as an instant cover-all poster or as a more eco-friendly alternative to vinyls on boards. It will not stretch in mounting so there is no need to overlaminate. The satin finish has quite good scratch and scuff resistance. It can be more effective to use TSBBS5SA unlaminated on boards than to use a vinyl plus laminate. The base paper is sourced from certified managed forests.
