All materials in our solvent range are now available by the metre

Hassle free quality solvent products at competitive prices

During the last 8 years we have built up the knowledge and experience that allows us to deliver hassle free quality solvent products at competitive prices. We have most of the popular wide format solvent inkjet printers, including Mimaki and the full range of Roland eco-solvent printers and use these for product testing, development and colour profiling. This allows us to test all the products we sell to ensure we have the necessary profiles and knowledge to support them in the field. We also have a full time technical who profiles our media. RIPs include Shiraz, Onyx V6.5 up to V7.3, Wasatch, SignLab, Colorip and Versaworks.

New to our Monomeric and Polymeric Calendar Vinyl range

We launched our DigiSOL DS3005 scuff resistant textured white vinyl late in 2008. This unique 150µ film resists stretching when mounted, regardless of ink load, and also allows the film to be used for many applications without a protective laminate. The grey high coat weight adhesive acts as a coverall and also sticks to difficult surfaces.

Following on from this success we have added 2 new films to this stable:

  • DS3015 is virtually the same as DS3005 but this 150µ 3 year textured white film features a clear permanent adhesive, rather than a grey one. DS3007 is a gloss white 150µ 3 year version with a clear permanent adhesive.
  • JAC D8000 Series - The JAC Sign Inkjet series from Avery Dennison Corporation has been revamped to improve the range. The 80µ monomerics in the JAC D7000 series now feature grey coatings on the adhesive side to reduce the effect of the solvent inks on the film and adhesive, and to add opacity for coverall type applications. In addition we are delighted to launch D7411 which is a 150µ 3 year gloss white monomeric with a removable adhesive that is both easy to apply and to remove. The D8000 polymeric series are formulated to hit different price points with a mix of adhesive and release liner components to suit every pocket.

LG Hausys have also added some great new films into their digital range. The biggest seller is LD2710G which is an 80µ 3 year gloss white monomeric with a strong permanent grey solvent adhesive on a quality PE coated liner, all at a fantastic price. Also just in from LG is their LD3888G 3 - 5 year gloss white monomeric with an ultratack extra strong permanent adhesive designed for even the most 'difficult-to-stick' surfaces such as polypropylene bins etc.

Scrim Banner Vinyls

We've introduced new banners to help meet every price and possible use. SFL520M smooth matt scrim PVC banner is a low cost 520gsm banner that is ideal for banners on brickwork, fences etc. If you need something stronger we've just launched SFL560M which is a 560gsm semi-coated smooth matt scrim PVC banner that is twice as strong as SFL520M so is suitable for 'across-the-street' type banners where wind shear will be a factor.

Roll-up Films

For roll-ups we have added in TSNW8 which is a 200gsm/400µ non woven fabric that is very low cost and light. TSOP7 is still proving incredibly popular for roll-ups and this opaque silver backed polypropylene banner material has actually come down in price as new methods of manufacture have taken some cost out. We are delighted to introduce a solvent printable version of FotoTex self-adhesive fabric. TSPT11 FotoTex is a matt finished cloth with a removable adhesive on a paper release liner that can be crumpled up and then smoothed out without wrinkles. The fabric is perfect for end users to apply themselves and the adhesive system is both removable and replaceable, enabling the graphic to be moved around several times with no adhesive transfer problems.

Speciality Self-adhesive Films

Finally we are also pleased to formally introduce our range of printable bright silver and gold films in both plain and brushed finishes.
