280µ FabTex universal matt self adhesive fabric

FabTex universal matt self adhesive fabric is now available for solvent printers.
Now in a brighter white finish and with less stretch to make it easier to apply and re-apply.
FabTex is a matt finished cloth with a semi-permanent adhesive on a paper release liner.
FabTex can be crumpled up and then smoothed out without wrinkles.
The fabric has no sharp edges so combined with the easy to apply adhesive, FabTex is perfect for end users to apply themselves. The adhesive system is semi-permanent enabling the graphic to be moved around.
FabTex is tear and water resistant with an outdoor life expectancy of at least 6 months unlaminated.
It has excellent light diffusion properties so can also be applied to light boxes for backlit applications. The fabric can also be stretched over rigid display frames.
FabTex will stick to any non-porous surface such as painted walls, windows etc. and can be applied to curved surfaces.
Lamination of FabTex is not recommended.
Due to the variety of textures and surface coatings on wallpapers it is important that the end user applies a complete drop to the various walls involved to check that the graphics will stay in place. Heavily textured wallpapers are more difficult to get good adhesion to than to smooth ones. Also wallpaper surface coatings can vary widely from vinyl (PVC) or acrylic to other coatings such as polypropylene (PP), which are much more difficult to gain the correct amount of adhesion to.

It will not stretch in mounting so there is no need to laminate. The satin finish has quite good scratch and scuff resistance.
