Media for Solvent Printing
Our range of vinyl for solvent printers continues to grow, with over 100 products to choose from, including the full MACtac range and eco solvent vinyls!
We have strengthened our self adhesive vinyls and banner vinyl ranges as well as adding in specialities printables such as wallpapers, metallic films and roll-up and pop-up materials. A lot of these products are suitable for use with the HP Latex ink technology - call the sales office for an up to date list of profiles and products. Also look out for our

New products in the Media for Solvent Printing range includes:
- LB0002M - A bio-degradable, satin finished, corn based film with a permanent grey adhesive for the graphics market. LB0002M is a more environmentally acceptable product which does not contain PVC, chlorine or plasticisers
- D7120 and D7121 - A price competitive, but high quality, branded 100µ gloss white monomeric PVC for shorter term graphic applications onto flat-sided surfaces
- MACtac JT5422 P - One of MACtac's first printable products in their 'green' range; JT5422P is PVC, chlorine and phthalate free. It is suitable for flat-sided applications
- MACtac JT5122 P - For wall wrapping/coverings. 100µ monomeric vinyl film for flat sided applications with grey acrylic adhesives and 120gsm kraft liners
- MACtac WW100, WW200 and WW300 and Streetrap - For wall wrapping/coverings onto brickwork, all are white gloss conformable vinyls with grey permanent adhesive for difficult-to- stick-to surfaces
- ENDURO TACK™ - Featuring a specially formulated adhesive to ensure fantastic adhesion to low energy plastics for use predominantly on off-road motorcycles
- SFC550M - A smooth fire-rated scrim banner with a brilliant white shade and probably the strongest banner in our range. If you only want to stock one banner then this is our recommended choice
- TSGP225 - A gloss photo paper with better print quality and heavier weight than our older TSPHG6, and at a lower price
- TSSP225 - A satin version of TSGP225. Excellent print quality, suitable for latex printing and the base paper is sourced from certified managed forests

In-house we have most of the popular wide format solvent inkjet printers such as the new HP L25500 latex printer as well as those from Mimaki and the full range of Roland eco-solvent printers. We use these for product testing, development and colour profiling. All media in our latex printing range is available "buy the metre" - just buy what you need, when you need it. No need to store odds and ends or lose all your margin in buying full rolls for small jobs.
Using our in house HP Latex 25500 printer, we have been evaluating media and creating custom profiles to help you get the best out of your latex printer. The list of products below have been thoroughly tested and found to work well with the latex ink technology.

Media for Aqueous Printing
A fully profiled range of products which are perfectly suited for the range of water based inkjet printers on the market today. Our range also includes products which work well with the older range of printers including the HP 5000, HP 5500, HP Z6100 and now the new HP Z6200.
The following are some of the highlights of our Media for Aqueous Inkjet Printing product range:
- USP195: Our best value and most economical photopaper for HPZ6100, HPZ6200, Epson and Canon printers

Keeping up with the latest in printer technologies
Our in-house application centre is dedicated to helping get the next generation of digital products to market. In addition to HP and Epson wide format printers, and a Seal laminator, we also have the very latest colour profiling equipment and RIP's to ensure you get the consistency of print you demand and deserve. We have also been working hard on creating high speed colour profiles for these fast printers to allow you to increase your productivity and reduce lead times.
New for 2011
Recently launched for 2011 is our new USP195 photo paper for aqueous printing. This is a 195gsm photo satin paper for the HP Z6100 and Z6200 printers. Available in 60M rolls, it is our most competitively priced photo paper for these printers.
Our Roll-up and Pop-up Media ranges
One of the most popular products recently is USOP7. This is a 170µ grey backed opaque polypropylene film for roll-ups. For short-term promotional work it does not need lamination. The instant dry coating allows it to be printed on the HP Z6100 printer with our high-speed profile at 13M² per hour and still look stunning. Polypropylene is an environmentally responsible alternative solution for banner stands. USOP7 roll-up has the resin identification code 5 so is easier to place in the recycling chain. Another environmental bonus is that it only weighs 130 grammes per M², 25% to 50% of the weight of alternatives so it consumes fewer resources in the manufacturing stage.
Our polyester roll-up and pop-up products are fully compatibility with all leading water based inkjet printers:
- USFP7 is our 185µ satin white opaque universal polyester with a grey light-stop for roll-up displays
- USFP13 is our matched 330µ satin white opaque universal polyester with a grey light-stop for pop-up displays
Both these products are unique to us in the UK and we have achieved print speeds of up to 13M² per hour without sacrificing quality. We offer various laminates in our Print Finishing Film section to provide both protection and stiffness.

We have extended our popular "buy the metre" policy to our range of print finishing products - so now you can also buy how much you need for a specific job. This does not include the DM range of self wound mount films for practical reasons!
Designed for the fast and efficient finishing of digital prints. As well as the DigiGuard laminates and DigiMount mounting films we have sold for years, we can now offer the extensive range of Mactac PERMACOLOR laminates and mounts. Nearly all these products can be purchased "buy the metre" allowing you to buy only what you need for specific jobs, especially important for the higher value and specialised laminates.
New products in the Print Finishing Films range includes:
- DIGIGUARD AG2-20 - Our lowest cost polypropylene based anti graffiti film. The 50mic makes it easier to handle than most of the competition
- DIGIGUARD TV10-30 - A 250mic scuff resistant deep textured PVC film. Our best laminate for pop up graphics yet!
- ENDURO GUARD™ ULTRA - A gloss range of laminates for use in the toughest environments such as motocross graphics

DigiGuard Laminates
The DigiGuard laminating films are available in different finishes, thicknesses and roll sizes to satisfy all your requirements. The best-seller is TV3-60 textured matt PVC which gives excellent scuff and scratch resistance without killing the image.
Other laminates include a range of speciality laminates to add something different to your images. These include a canvas, a linen, a leather and a sparkle film. The price of our floor laminate, FV8-85, has been reduced significantly by the manufacturer to help grow that part of the market.
We have recently added in a number of heavy duty laminates for different applications. The ENDURO GUARD™ ULTRA gloss range of laminates are between 250µ and 375µ thick and offer protection under the toughest of regimes such as motocross graphics. TV10-30 is our 250µ deep textured clear rigid PVC laminate that has been designed to add rigidity, stiffness and durability to your pop-ups without dulling down the image.
DigiGuard Anti-Graffiti Laminates
We now have two anti-graffiti films in the range. AG2-30 is a 50µ top of the range coated polyester film with a 3 year outdoor life. More recently launched is a lower cost 50µ polypropylene version called AG2-20 that will last one year outdoors and will suit most pockets.
DigiMount Mounting and Backing Films
Our DigiMount mounting products are available in internal, external and optically clear grades and we have now formally introduced two self-adhesive white backers to the range.
Our in-house application centre features a Seal laminator to ensure that all the products are thoroughly researched before release.
Inks For Solvent Printing
We launched the Nazdar range of digital solvent inks in September 2010 and they have proved to be no-fuss, 'plug and play' inks for the leading eco-solvent printers in the UK.
We already have over 50 installations to customers in the UK who are seeing the benefit of the fantastic savings which are on offer!
Simply plug these inks in and you are ready to go...
There's no need to flush out your old OEM inks, just mix 'n' match ink cartridges.
Our comprehensive range of digital inks for the leading eco-solvent printers in the UK market has followed extensive testing on our own in house printers. These inks are almost identical in colour to the OEM inks, so no need for re-profiling. An additional benefit is they are low odour. The inks are supplied by Nazdar.
Nazdar have been making ink since 1922 and established a digital ink division way back in 1995. This knowledge and expertise allows Nazdar to offer the Industry's strongest third-party warranty. Nazdar warrants Lyson Series Ink to withstand exterior exposure without material deterioration when viewed under normal conditions for a period of up to two years .

We launched Nazdar Lyson's 1302 series of low odour inks similar to the SS2 inks for the Mimaki JV3 printer and these were quickly followed by their 133 series (SS21) inks for the Mimaki JV33 printer. Then came the 2000 series low odour inks similar to the Eco-Sol Max inks for the Roland DG range of printers.

We stock a small range of banner stands for quick and easy retractable displays. On the Altona Two range we have reverted back to 3 part bungee poles as the older telescopic poles were too easy to break.
